- Open to any female bowler. All participants must be USBC members ($36 payable on site).

- $150,000 U.S. dollars ($25,000 US for the winner)
- Format
- Official practice will be held on Aug. 3.
Participants bowl three eight-game qualifying blocks
over three days (Aug. 4-6). The field is cut to the top 25
percent, who bowl 16 additional games on the fourth day
(Aug. 7). The top 12 players advance to the televised
quarterfinals, semifinals and final, held over two days
(Aug. 8-9). Departures take place Aug. 10.

- The U.S. Women’s Open is one of the most
prestigious bowling events for women in the United States.
Many of the top amateur and former professional stars in
women’s bowling will compete in the event. Last year,
several foreign bowlers competed, including Malaysia’s
Shalin Zulkifli, who finished tied for third.
