- Open to any bowler. All participants must be USBC members ($36 payable on site).
- Prize fund
- $7 million U.S. dollars
- Format
- This tournament consists of five-player team, doubles, singles and all-events. Bowlers post their best score and see where they place in the standings. There are no finals. Bowlers will compete in team event on either July 22 at 8:30 p.m. or July 23 at 8:30 p.m. with doubles/singles on the following day. Each bowler may only participate once in each event.
- About the event
- The USBC Open Championships is the largest bowling tournament in the world and will attract more than 80,000 bowlers in 2009. Competing in this event will give your team the chance to compete on the same lanes used for the World Women’s Championships.
